Job summary

NHS Scotland invites applications for an IT Purchasing Officer within the HSCP eHealth team, based in Argyll & Bute.

You will lead sourcing, negotiation and acquisition of IT hardware and software licenses, administer Pecos purchasing system and utilise MS365.

The role requires travel around HSCP, good communication and SCQF Level 6 qualification, with occasional unsocial hours.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in the public sector or customer-focused environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of IT hardware, software licenses and related systems for the HSCP.
• Administer and update purchasing systems (Pecos) and utilise MS365.
• Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the IT Development Manager and the eHealth Department.
• Travel across the HSCP and occasional unsocial hours may be required.
