Job summary

HW Interim Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Category Manager to lead the IT procurement strategy within a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will own the IT category, drive cost optimisation, and deliver measurable commercial savings by negotiating with key suppliers and managing high-level stakeholder relationships.

• Proven experience in IT procurement/category management.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Experience delivering cost savings.
• Confident managing senior stakeholders and suppliers.

• Strong analytical and strategic procurement capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT category strategy, sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Analyse spend, contracts and supplier arrangements to identify savings opportunities.
• Develop and deliver category plans and commercial improvement initiatives.
• Manage senior stakeholder and supplier relationships.
• Track and report savings and commercial benefits.
• Support wider procurement improvement projects.
