Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking an experienced IT Architecture Team Lead to mature and lead our UK Architecture function. You will shape architectural direction, align technology decisions with business priorities, and establish governance that enables secure, scalable solutions.

Working with UK and Group IT, Security, Data, and third-party suppliers, you will define roadmaps, support major programs, and develop a mature architecture capability that delivers business value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading an IT Architecture function.
• Experience guiding governance and decision-making frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture vision, standards, and guardrails for UK estate.
• Translate strategy into target-state architectures and roadmaps.
• Lead architecture governance (TDA, reviews, exceptions).
• Provide pragmatic guidance to programmes and projects.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to align tech with priorities.
• Maintain architecture documentation and reference architectures.
• Improve architecture practices and tooling.
• Prioritise architecture demand to high-value initiatives.
• Lead and develop architecture professionals.
• Embed security, resilience, data, and compliance early.
