Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to guide technical product ownership, application development, and platform delivery, including Power Platform and testing services.

You will translate business needs into practical engineering outcomes, grow offshore teams, ensure governance and release readiness, and partner with Architecture, Security, Data, and Operations to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering or development teams in a complex tech environment.
• Experience managing offshore or distributed delivery teams.
• Strong track record delivering enterprise application development, integrations and platform solutions.
• Experience implementing governance, engineering standards and delivery processes.
• Ability to develop high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Technical Product Owners and offshore engineering teams with a culture of accountability.
• Establish clear ownership models for products and platforms, manage backlog and align roadmaps.
• Drive engineering delivery across application development, integrations, automation and Power Platform solutions.
• Ensure governance, planning, testing, release management and operational readiness processes are followed.
• Provide leadership for enterprise integrations, APIs, workflows and data exchange solutions.
• Own Power Platform governance and delivery standards and controls across environments.
• Promote high engineering standards across development, testing, release management and support transitions.
• Strengthen Agile, DevOps and QA practices to improve delivery performance and reliability.
• Manage risks, dependencies and escalations to achieve successful outcomes.
• Represent engineering in IT leadership discussions and strategic technology initiatives.
