Job summary
Spirax-Sarco Engineering is seeking a highly analytical Planning and Inventory Manager to own inventory health, portfolio planning, and demand-to-capacity forecasting. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Technical, Operations, Procurement and Manufacturing to drive planning excellence and support business growth.
In this on-site role in Cheltenham, you will manage safety stock, reorder points, replenishment, and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in inventory planning, replenishment, supply chain operations.
- Advanced Excel with ERP systems and planning tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Own inventory targets including safety stock and reorder points.
- Monitor excess, ageing, slow-moving stock and take corrective actions.
- Manage replenishment plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop forecasts using historical trends and BI insights.
- Translate forecasts into 2–18 month capacity and inventory plans.
- Lead S&OP collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
