Pets at Home is seeking an experienced Internal Controls Business Partner to strengthen the Group's risk, governance and internal controls environment. Based at Handforth (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week), you will help safeguard the business while enabling positive change and growth.

Reporting to the Group Head of Profit Protection, Risk and Internal Controls, you will lead design and effectiveness assessments of controls and partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, IT, Retail and

Qualifications

Significant experience in Risk, Internal Controls, Audit or related governance.
Experience delivering risk and controls frameworks.
Strong knowledge of financial controls and risk management principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders.

Responsabilités

Develop and embed enterprise risk management framework across the organisation.
Identify risks with stakeholders and implement effective controls and mitigation plans.
Design, implement and operate Group internal controls in support of Provision 29 compliance.
Review risk events, analyse root causes and drive improvements.
Maintain risk registers and support executive/ Audit & Risk Committee reporting.
Deliver training and raise risk awareness across the organisation.
Collaborate with Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, IT and operational teams.
