Job summary

Leonard Curtis is seeking an experienced Restructuring and Insolvency Assistant Manager to join the Manchester team. The role involves supporting the Senior Manager and Manager in running the Trading and Case Management team, handling a caseload, and providing technical and organisational support to the team.

With at least 5 years in restructuring and insolvency, you will manage administration casework, mentor junior members, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ restructuring and insolvency experience with hands-on administration casework.
• CPI qualified – beneficial but not essential.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail; capable of managing high-risk issues.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a varied case portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Manager and Manager in day-to-day running of the TCM team.
• Take ownership of cases after ~3 months and manage post-appointment period.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of case management processes.
• Lead administration processes including prepack/SIP16 and trading administrations.
• Mentor junior team members and develop their careers.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle additional ad hoc tasks and maintain autonomy in decisions.
