Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a dynamic leader to run the Manchester-based Innovation Lab network. You will design and facilitate client sessions, identify opportunities for co-creation, and translate emerging technology trends into practical pilots for clients.

Working with partners across the UK, you will shape the innovation agenda, drive measurable client engagements, and promote a strong innovation culture across offices and universities.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building skills with partners, directors and client teams.
• Confident to facilitate workshops and client sessions in person or virtually.
• Commercially aware with ability to spot opportunities for innovation.
• Practical understanding of design thinking, ideation, discovery and prototyping.
• Curious about emerging technologies and translating trends into opportunities.
• Clear communicator, capable of influencing diverse audiences.
• Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple sessions.
• Collaborative, able to work across offices and service lines.
• Analytical and evidence-based with ability to report outcomes.
• Adaptable in a fast-moving environment; resilient to evolving ideas.
• Experience with Miro, Figma, Microsoft 365, Copilot or similar tools helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships to translate client needs into opportunities.
• Develop client-facing innovation propositions, use cases and demos.
• Identify priority clients, sectors and propositions UK-wide.
• Drive usage of the Manchester Innovation Lab for meaningful engagements.
• Lead UK Innovation Labs strategy, delivery and impact assessment.
• Design and facilitate high-quality client sessions and workshops.
• Lead regional innovation events and technology demonstrations.
• Coordinate experimentation across labs and pilots.
• Shape ideas into pilots, prototypes or business cases with teams.
• Develop case studies and reporting on value delivered.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote lab activity and thought leadership.
• Engage universities, vendors and ecosystem partners for talent development.
• Promote a strong innovation culture across Manchester and regions.
• Promote annual impact assessment of Innovation Labs.
