Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a commercially minded individual at management level to lead our financial outsourcing offering and inspire the team. You will oversee day-to-day delivery, drive business development, and ensure exceptional client outcomes.

You will manage a client portfolio, deliver high-quality management reporting and advisory solutions, and pursue opportunities to win new work while collaborating across departments to align go-to-market efforts.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/FCCA/CIMA.
• Strong accounting technical skills.
• Experience with domestic and international businesses.
• Expertise in management accounts preparation and financial statements.
• Leadership experience in finance teams.
• Experience with multiple ERP systems (Sage Intacct, Iplicit, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP).
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop business and secure opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Inspire, lead and coach the local team to deliver excellent client service and build a team for the future.
• Develop the business, identifying opportunities to win work and liaise with other departments to ensure a joined up go-to-market approach.
• Manage a client portfolio and ensure a quality outsourced finance function with strong client relationships.
• Delight clients through high-quality management reporting and advisory solutions.
• Drive gross margin profitability and enhance team productivity through streamlined processes and use of technology.
• Review team outputs to ensure quality and commercial understanding for clients.
• Provide on-demand fractional FC/FD services using our internal solutions.
• Support adoption of new software for clients and ensure effective implementation.
• Embrace technological change in accounting and embed it in client solutions.
