Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Corporate Strategic Lead for Infrastructure to drive the capital strategy for Edinburgh’s health and social care infrastructure. You will work with NHS Lothian and council partners to plan and deliver facilities for around 5000 colleagues and ensure a fit-for-purpose working environment.

You will lead strategic planning, manage major programmes, and embed governance across large budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic planning and leading programmes and projects in a complex environment.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to use data and evidence to inform planning decisions and governance structures to manage significant budgets.

• Develop and implement a capital strategy to meet health and social care needs.
• Lead the long-term review of facilities and business cases for refurbishment, disposal, and new builds.
