Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Information Governance Partner to join the Governance and Resilience Directorate. You will provide expert guidance across data protection, confidentiality, records management and information sharing to support safe and lawful information use.

Working within a business partnering model, you will act as IG contact for clinical, operational and corporate services, deliver IG awareness training and help drive assurance,

Qualifications

• IG governance and data protection basics
• Records management and information asset handling
• Information sharing and information rights knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and day-to-day support on Information Governance matters
• Support DPIAs, Information Asset Registers and processing activities
• Assist with GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and NHS requirements compliance
• Deliver IG awareness sessions and staff training
• Identify and manage Information Governance risks with service managers
• Support audits, assurance activities and incident handling
