Job summary

• Significant experience leading an Information Governance service within a complex organisation.
• Expert knowledge of Information Governance legislation and best practice.
• Experience of advising senior managers and elected members.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the Information Governance service.
• Provide expert advice, shape policy and governance frameworks.
• Lead service improvement initiatives and manage the IG team.
• Ensure compliance with FOI, EIR, UK GDPR and Data Protection Act.
