Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) is seeking an Indirect Purchasing Manager to lead the development and management of the group’s indirect procurement function. The role partners with stakeholders to establish sourcing strategies, supplier-management practices, purchasing controls, and governance to deliver cost efficiency and service improvements across multiple sites.

• Proven track record in indirect procurement and spend management.
• Experience leading sourcing events and negotiating supplier contracts.
• Strong governance, supplier management and purchasing controls.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement indirect purchasing strategy, policies and controls.
• Lead sourcing for indirect goods and services including tendering and negotiation.
• Manage indirect spend categories with category plans aligned to business needs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs and renewal terms with suppliers.
• Establish supplier performance management, risk reviews, and corrective actions.
• Identify cost-saving and value-improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with budget holders to forecast demand and purchasing needs.
• Oversee purchasing activity, POs, and procurement governance.
• Coach and support indirect purchasing team members.
• Develop procurement reporting: spend, savings, contracts, compliance.
