Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group is seeking an Indirect Purchasing Manager to lead the group's indirect procurement strategy and governance across multiple sites. You will develop category plans, drive sourcing events, and manage supplier contracts to secure best commercial terms.

You will deliver cost savings, oversee supplier performance, and partner with budget holders and stakeholders to meet demand and drive continuous improvement in procurement systems and data quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in procurement, purchasing, category management or supply chain.
• Proven track record delivering cost savings and commercial value.
• Experience leading indirect procurement and managing multiple spend categories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the indirect purchasing strategy, policies, processes and controls.
• Lead sourcing events including tendering, quotation, evaluation and supplier selection.
• Manage indirect spend categories and develop category plans aligned with needs.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, terms, pricing, SLAs and renewals.
• Establish supplier performance management, risk and issue resolution processes.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving, value-improvement and standardisation opportunities.
• Oversee purchasing activity, delegated authority controls and governance.
• Develop procurement reporting: spend analysis, savings tracking and compliance.
