Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group seeks an Indirect Purchasing Manager to lead the development and management of the group’s indirect procurement. You will establish sourcing strategies, supplier-management practices, and purchasing controls, delivering value, governance, and service improvements while partnering with stakeholders across the group.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in procurement, purchasing, category management, or supply chain.
• Experience leading indirect procurement activities across multiple spend categories.
• Proven ability to lead sourcing events and negotiate terms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the indirect purchasing strategy, policies, processes and controls.
• Lead sourcing activities for indirect goods and services, including tendering and evaluation.
• Manage indirect spend categories and develop category plans in line with requirements.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, terms, pricing, SLAs and renewals.
• Establish supplier performance-management, risk reviews and corrective actions.
• Drive cost-saving and value-improvement opportunities across indirect spend.
• Collaborate with budget holders to understand demand and future needs.
• Oversee purchasing activity, PO controls, and procurement governance.
• Lead and mentor indirect purchasing team members where applicable.
• Develop procurement reporting: spend analysis, savings, supplier performance, contracts.
• Ensure records and documentation are accurate and maintained.
