Job summary

Volkswagen Group UK is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Buyer in Milton Keynes, reporting to the Procurement Category Manager. The role focuses on leading projects, guiding stakeholders, and driving value across indirect spend.

You will conduct tender activities, review scope, perform supplier due diligence, negotiate and present for approvals, while fostering continuous improvement and strong cross-brand collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in indirect procurement and stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial acumen with analytical skills.
• Self-starter able to work independently within category strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of projects and value generation within an indirect spend area.
• Provide commercial guidance and coaching on procurement process and policy to stakeholders.
• Lead tender activity to leverage spend across brands and entities, including scope review, supplier due diligence, negotiation and approvals.
• Identify and implement improvements, build stakeholder relationships and ensure best practice is followed.
