Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking an experienced recruitment professional to lead recruitment across multiple service areas, reporting to the Resourcing Manager. You will line manage a small team, provide expert guidance to hiring managers, and drive workforce planning and talent pooling while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

The role requires working knowledge of Right to Work legislation, Skilled Worker visas and sponsorship requirements, plus experience with recruitment

Qualifications

• Significant recruitment experience within an in-house or agency environment.
• Experience of managing and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of employment law relating to recruitment.
• Ability to influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Project management skills and experience with recruitment technology and system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment activity across a portfolio of service areas.
• Line manage a small team and develop colleagues to improve recruitment outcomes.
• Advise hiring managers and senior stakeholders on recruitment strategy and process improvements.
• Ensure compliant, efficient, candidate-focused recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Drive workforce planning, talent pooling, and use of MI/reporting to improve performance.
• Navigate Right to Work, Skilled Worker visa, and sponsorship requirements with confidence.
