Job summary

Turner Lovell seeks a Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing in England to provide strategic leadership across major highways maintenance operations. You will champion a positive safety culture, ensure CDM compliance, and drive continuous improvement while engaging senior stakeholders.

Ideal candidates hold NEBOSH Diploma, Chartered IOSH (CMIOSH) or are working towards it, with a proven track record in senior SHEQ/HSW leadership across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.
• Chartered IOSH status (CMIOSH) or working towards it.
• Significant senior SHEQ/HSW leadership across multi-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible HSW leadership across multiple operations, projects and contracts.
• Lead, develop and coach HSW teams with high standards and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
• Oversee audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for shared learning.
