Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Rugby seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to support a global logistics and supply chain operation across multiple UK sites. This full-time, hybrid role delivers commercially focused people solutions to drive performance, with responsibility for organisational design, workforce planning and change management.

You will partner with senior operational leaders, manage complex employee relations, and influence tenders and contract mobilisations.

Qualifications

• Proven HR Business Partner experience within a complex, multi-site, fast-paced organisation.
• Experience in 3PL/contract logistics, manufacturing, FMCG, transport or warehousing.
• Experience working with Trade Unions.
• Experience supporting tenders, contract mobilisation or renewals.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how people decisions affect business performance.
• Ability to operate at a strategic level and influence leadership.
• Experience across multiple sites or dispersed workforce.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior operational leaders to deliver people strategy across Contract Logistics.
• Provide strategic HR advice, coaching and constructive challenge to managers and leadership teams.
• Take ownership of key people projects, including organisational change, restructures and new business mobilisation.
• Support talent management, succession planning and development of internal and external talent pipelines.
• Build relationships with Trade Unions and local colleague groups.
• Manage and support complex employee and industrial relations matters.
• Use HR data and metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Work with HR Centres of Excellence and Shared Services.
• Support tenders, contract renewals and business development activity.
• Interact with customers during tenders and renewals.
• Challenge organisational design and people decisions to support performance and profitability.
• Lead people workstreams through periods of business change and continuous improvement.
