Job summary

Bluecrest Wellness is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to partner with managers and employees on complex employee relations, policy development, and people projects. The role focuses on sound judgement, practical advice, and supporting managers through challenging conversations.

You will help shape a positive, high-performing workplace culture, balancing autonomy with delivering strategic HR solutions across the organisation, including hybrid work up to 3 days in the office at Worthing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK Employment Law and best practice.
• Substantial experience in an HR Advisor role.
• Management experience or deputising in leadership tasks.
• Experience managing complex employee relations casework.
• Experience drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.
• Experience leading organisational change and HR projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on employee relations cases with fair, compliant outcomes.
• Respond to HR queries with clear, timely guidance.
• Negotiate terms of employment with employees and lead consultations.
• Manage long-term sickness absence and ill health capability cases.
• Coach and develop line managers on performance management and ER skills.
• Support HR team development and ensure quality in casework.
• Lead HR projects and restructures with oversight from the HR Manager.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support inspections and audits.
