Job summary

AM Global seeks a senior HR leader to drive HR strategy and delivery across our engineering and construction portfolio. You will lead an HR team, partner with site leadership, and own workforce planning for offshore wind, power, oil & gas, and nuclear projects.

You will manage disciplinary, grievance and performance matters with fairness, ensure policy compliance, and champion engagement and retention in a fast-paced, site-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership of an HR team with accountability for delivery.
• Experience handling disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
• Background in engineering, construction or project-delivery environments.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and NAECI framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the HR team and hold the team accountable for delivery.
• Act as a point of contact for employee relations with fairness and professionalism.
• Partner with project leadership to support workforce planning across portfolios.
• Design and embed practical HR policies aligned to client size and pace.
• Own recruitment and resourcing for office and site-based roles with hiring managers.
• Manage pay and terms for site-based engineering staff, aware of NAECI where relevant.
• Drive engagement, culture and retention for a hands-on, delivery-focused business.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and collaborate with HSQE on people issues.
• Report HR metrics, workforce risk and ER trends to senior leadership.
