Job summary

Riverside School invites applications for the post of Human Resources Lead. The role is pro rata 36 hours per week over 42 weeks per year, with a salary scale of BR9–10 (actual salary approx. £32,514- £37,158 pa).

You will provide high quality HR support, manage absence and injury reporting, and ensure day-to-day HR operations comply with school policies. The successful candidate will build strong working relationships and handle confidential matters with discretion.

• Manage absence and injury reporting in line with policies.
• Advise on HR policies and procedures within a school context.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day HR operations are effectively managed, including absence management.
• Provide HR advice to staff and ensure compliance with policies.
• Coordinate DBS checks, health clearances and safeguarding considerations.
• Support growth and development through internal and external programmes.
