Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a local government organisation to appoint a part-time HR Business Partner. Your role will shape organisational priorities and deliver strategic HR support while maintaining practical delivery and strong relationships with senior leaders.

You will work within a job-share model, advising on workforce planning, change initiatives and HR policy implementation, with a clear emphasis on commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Hold Chartered CIPD membership; senior stakeholder partnering experience preferred.
• Ability to coach, influence and challenge senior leaders effectively.
• Demonstrate commercial thinking and strong judgement in decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to managers and leaders.
• Partner with Directors and senior teams across three service areas.
• Support workforce planning and organisational change initiatives.
• Analyse HR data to inform decision-making and improve performance.
• Influence and support senior leaders to shape the people agenda.
