Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a multi-site Dorset operation in a hybrid capacity. The role focuses on delivering practical people solutions, partnering with leaders, and using data to drive decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with managers and senior leaders, handling employee relations, analytics, and development initiatives to support business performance. This 18-month FTC offers strong career exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Business Partner / Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
• Experience supporting complex, multi-site or operationally focused businesses.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical capability with HR data, metrics and trends.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers across multiple sites to provide proactive HR support.
• Handle employee relations including complex case management, disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
• Use HR metrics to identify trends and support business planning.
• Coach managers to improve leadership and people management.
• Support organisational change projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive engagement, retention and talent development.
• Collaborate with wider HR teams to ensure a consistent employee experience.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and policy.
