Job summary

Babcock International, located at HMNB Clyde Faslane, invites applications for an HR Business Partner. This full-time role combines strategic and operational people expertise across defence and engineering, with hybrid working and a 36-hour week (Mon-Thu), three days on site.

You will partner with site leaders and trade unions, lead complex HR projects, drive workforce planning and talent initiatives, and shape people strategies that support national security objectives while developing

Qualifications

• Experience partnering in a complex, fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong background in industrial relations with unions, negotiation and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience delivering key strategic people projects.
• Ability to build relationships quickly and provide pragmatic HR support.

Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with leaders and managers to support strategic and operational people priorities.
• Lead and sponsor complex HR and business change projects aligned to wider organisational strategies including workforce planning, engagement, reward and recognition.
• Lead organisational design and development activities to align to site operating model and enable delivery of strategic priorities.
• Apply up-to-date Employment Law knowledge to improve policy and processes.
• Own, analyse and present key People & Business data to support informed, strategic decision-making.
