Job summary

Portsmouth City Council is seeking a qualified Chartered Surveyor or Architect to lead the delivery of strategic housing opportunities within the Housing Revenue Account. You will act as client lead in multi-disciplinary teams, bringing extensive project management and construction knowledge to bear on social and affordable housing schemes.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and good communicators.
• Qualified and Chartered Surveyors or Architects or equivalent property-related qualification/chartership.
• Experience of direct delivery and alternative delivery of social and affordable homes.

Responsibilities

• Bring forward delivery of strategic housing opportunities within the Housing Revenue Account.
• Act as client lead in multi-disciplinary teams with project management and construction knowledge.
• Demonstrate delivery of a range of housing tenures in local authorities, registered providers or housing associations.
