Job summary

ENGIE UK is seeking an analytical Hedging & Deal Capture Co-Ordinator to support the Supply & Energy Management team in Leeds. You will help manage energy portfolios with precision, joining trading, sales and finance to capture positions accurately and optimize strategies.

The role emphasises data-driven decision making, daily curve pricing, and close collaboration with forecasting and portfolio teams to maintain a clear view of gains and losses across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of hedging, deal capture processes and energy retail products.
• Strong numerical ability with large, complex datasets.
• Experience in energy markets or forward trading is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel with analytical and modelling skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines.
• Clear communication skills with external customers and intermediaries.

Responsibilities

• Execute forward hedging activities in line with the Retail Hedging Strategy.
• Manage flexible customer requests, pricing, deal execution and recording of transactions.
• Produce and maintain daily forward curves and pricing models.
• Monitor and reconcile customer positions across systems and with trading counterparties.
• Lead analytical work to develop and optimize hedging strategies and processes.
• Coordinate with forecasting, sales and portfolio management to track portfolio gains/losses.
• Ensure adherence to risk frameworks and pricing policies.
