Job summary

St Leonards School seeks an inspirational Head of People & Development who can nurture a positive workplace culture, promote engagement and inclusion, and provide informed guidance to deliver the school's operational and strategic plans.

You will work with Executive, Academic and Professional Services colleagues to drive the people agenda, apply employment law, and develop management information tools that empower leaders with clear, empathetic change leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional HR knowledge and experience.
• Ideal experience in an academic environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and policy.

Responsibilities

• Guide and deliver the School’s progressive people and organisational development agenda through high engagement and collaborative practice with all stakeholders.
• Provide pragmatic HR advice and direction to support delivery of operational and strategic plans.
• Develop and implement management information tools to enable evidence-based decision making for leaders.
