Job summary

St Leonards School is seeking a Head of People & Development to lead a positive workplace culture, drive engagement and inclusion, and provide informed HR guidance to support the school's operational and strategic plans.

Working with the Executive, Academic and Professional Services teams, you will shape the school’s people agenda through evidence-based decision making, ensure compliance with employment law, and deploy management information tools for leaders. Sponsorship cannot be provided.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional HR knowledge and experience in an academic environment.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to advise on change initiatives.
• Experience implementing employment legislation and analytics-driven workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the School’s progressive people and organisational development agenda.
• Collaborate with Executive, Academic and Professional Services colleagues to drive engagement and inclusion.
