Trainline is recruiting a Head of Group Reporting for a 6-month contract to lead IFRS reporting and the financial control framework. You will act as the primary technical authority on complex accounting areas and drive statutory consolidation across UK and international entities.

You’ll manage external audits, liaise with auditors and the CFO, and contribute to treasury insights, cashflow forecasting and policy development in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in a listed business.
• Strong IFRS technical grounding and ability to defend positions.
• Experience leading external audit processes and policy development.

Responsabilités

• Own IFRS annual and half-year statements and annual report.
• Lead year-end and half-year external audits, prepare Audit Committee papers.
• Oversee subsidiary accounts across UK and international entities.
• Own cashflow forecasting and liquidity analysis for decision making.
• Be the technical accounting authority, researching complex areas.
• Lead cross-functional projects and support monthly reporting and budgeting.
• Build strong external relationships with auditors and lenders.
