Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior finance leader to join our Finance leadership team. You will oversee the full cycle of Group financial planning and reporting, including annual and medium-term planning, budgeting, and monthly reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including the National Cost Collection.

You will provide Executive Directors and the Board with clear financial performance insights and lead the Costing and Financial Planning &

Qualifications

CCAB-qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in strategic finance leadership within a large, complex organisation.
NHS knowledge is desirable.
Ability to translate complex financial information into clear insight for executives and the board.

Responsibilities

Lead the full cycle of Group financial planning and reporting, including annual and medium-term plans.
Coordinate budget setting and Trust-wide monthly reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee National Cost Collection and provide timely, accurate information and analysis for governance and decision-making.
Lead Costing and Financial Planning and Reporting teams, developing robust processes and controls.
