Job summary

Park Avenue Recruitment is working with a local authority in East Anglia seeking an experienced Interim Head of Estates to provide strategic leadership across its property function.

You will oversee a property function of approximately 25-30 staff, with three direct reports leading Commercial Property, Facilities Management and Projects. Salary is day rate £700-£800 inside IR35, with 2 days in the office and the remainder remote.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification is essential for the role.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary property teams.
• Public sector experience within local authorities is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead property acquisitions and disposals with professional advice.
• Oversee lease and rental reviews and negotiate terms.
• Develop and implement the Asset Management Plan for the portfolio.
• Prepare reports and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
