Job summary

National Skills Agency Ltd is seeking a Head of Curriculum, Education & Quality to join the Senior Management Team. This role leads educational strategy, curriculum development and quality assurance across programmes, with accountability for safeguarding and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher or experienced education professional with at least five years' relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of the UK education system, particularly secondary education and careers guidance.
• Proven experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, programme design or quality assurance.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding requirements, procedures and best practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Strategic and analytical thinking with a practical, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Confidence contributing to senior-level discussions and influencing business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic educational advice and expertise to the Company Directors and Senior Management Team.
• Monitor developments in UK education, curriculum priorities and emerging skills needs.
• Ensure programmes reflect relevant educational frameworks and best practice.
• Build relationships with schools, employers, corporate partners and educational stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation at meetings, events and external engagements.
• Lead quality assurance across in-school programmes and wider educational delivery.
• Take responsibility for safeguarding leadership and related responsibilities.
