Job summary

The Very Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Head of Strategy to lead the Group's growth ambitions and work closely with the CEO and senior leaders to shape strategic choices that create long-term value.

Leading a Strategy team, you will translate insights into clear plans, align resources across functions, and champion an evidence-based, customer-focused approach to sustainable growth and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategy in large organisations and complex environments.
• Proven track record influencing senior leaders and driving decisions.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to prioritise value creation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO, Executive Committee and senior leaders to evaluate strategic opportunities, investment choices and trade-offs.
• Lead the development and evolution of the Group strategy and five-year plan, ensuring priorities align to customer, market and shareholder needs.
• Translate strategy into clear plans with measurable outcomes and aligned actions.
• Drive understanding and engagement with the Group strategy across the organisation.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing Strategy Team.
