Job summary

KAINE MANAGEMENT LTD in Leicester is seeking a Business Development Lead to steer strategic direction, oversee implementation, and align programmes, partnerships, and funding to strengthen community cohesion and support KAINE’s growth in the city.

You will chair the Strategy Committee, work with Finance, Community Engagement, and Programmes, and report to the Board on progress, risks, and opportunities, while staying true to the charity’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or overseeing organisational strategy, business planning or transformation.
• Ability to analyse complex information, identify patterns and create structured, realistic plans.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to bring diverse voices into a cohesive direction.
• Excellent communication and diplomacy, able to lead through influence rather than authority.
• Commitment to KAINE’s mission, values and improving community cohesion in Leicester.

Responsibilities

• Chair the Strategy Committee and steward progress on strategic priorities.
• Design and lead the delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Community Engagement and Programmes to ensure organisation-wide alignment.
• Provide regular reports to the Board on progress, issues, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure committee members have the information required to contribute effectively.
