Job summary

The Kent Autistic Trust is seeking a proactive Quality, Compliance & Governance Manager to lead governance, assurance and continuous improvement across the organisation. You will report to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborate with the senior management team and frontline services to drive excellence in quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning disability and autism services.
• Strong understanding of regulated health and social care environments.
• Experience coordinating complex workstreams and producing high-quality reports.
• Awareness of CQC requirements and safeguarding importance.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written communication and problem-solving with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support the CEO, SMT, Board and committees with governance papers, performance information and action tracking.
• Coordinate assurance processes, compliance records, action plans and evidence.
• Monitor developments in CQC regulation, health and safety, safeguarding and charity requirements.
• Translate changes into clear processes, templates and evidence frameworks; analyse data for trends and risks.
• Produce dashboards, reports and governance packs to support decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with managers across the Trust and ensure governance is grounded in frontline practice.
• Support projects, quality improvement, commissioner responses, bids and tenders.
• Utilise Microsoft 365 and data systems to improve reporting and efficiency.
• Contribute to workshops, coaching and leadership development.
