Job summary

Civil Aviation Authority is seeking a Corporate Governance Policy & Framework Lead to develop, maintain and continuously improve the governance framework across the organisation. You will lead governance policy development, standards and methodologies to ensure decisions are transparent and compliant.

Qualifications

• Significant experience developing, implementing and improving governance frameworks within a complex organisation.
• Demonstrable experience leading governance policy development and framework design.
• Experience providing governance advice and support to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of governance assurance, controls and accountability frameworks.
• Ability to interpret complex legislation, governance requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience leading governance change, improvement or framework development initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate governance requirements into practical standards, policies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own governance framework development, maintenance and reviews.
• Develop and maintain governance standards, principles and methodologies.
• Own governance frameworks including conflicts of interest, anti-fraud, sanctions and accountability arrangements.
• Ensure alignment with legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Assess effectiveness and propose improvements to governance arrangements.
• Lead the corporate governance policy suite and related documentation.
