The Special Partnership Trust is seeking a Governance Manager to lead high-quality governance support across the Trust. Reporting to the CEO and Trustees, you will provide expert guidance on governance regulations, policies and best practice, and manage secretarial responsibilities and a Governance Administrator.

You will work with Members, Trustees, Local Governing Bodies and school leaders to ensure compliant, effective governance across our growing partnership of specialist schools.

Qualifikationen

• Substantial governance experience.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and accuracy skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead governance support for the Trust Board, its committees and Local Governing Bodies.
• Provide trusted advice on governance matters and statutory requirements.
• Plan and manage governance cycles, meetings, papers and minutes.
• Maintain governance records, registers and policies.
• Support recruitment, induction and development of Members and governors.
• Undertake company secretarial duties and ensure compliance.
• Develop the Governance Administrator and promote efficient systems.
• Build relationships with senior leaders and governance stakeholders.
