Special Partnership Trust is seeking a Governance Manager to lead governance support across the Trust and advise on regulatory matters. You will report to the CEO and Trustees, providing trusted guidance and managing company secretarial duties to ensure compliant governance.

You will build strong relationships with Members, Trustees, Local Governing Bodies and school leaders, promoting excellent governance standards across our growing partnership.

Qualificações

• Substantial governance experience.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders.
• Experience in governance within education or a multi-academy trust is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead governance support for the Trust Board, its committees and Local Governing Bodies.
• Act as a trusted source of advice on statutory, regulatory, constitutional and procedural governance matters.
• Plan and manage governance cycles, meetings, agendas, papers, minutes and follow-up actions to a consistently high standard.
• Maintain accurate governance records, statutory registers, policies and submissions, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Support the recruitment, induction, training and development of Members, Trustees and local governors.
• Undertake company secretarial duties and support the Trust’s compliance with relevant legislation and governance frameworks.
• Manage and develop the Governance Administrator, promoting efficient systems and excellent service across the Trust.
• Build strong working relationships with senior leaders and governance stakeholders while handling sensitive information with discretion.
