Job summary

Cubed Resourcing Ltd presents a permanent, full-time Buyer role based in Shipley, West Yorkshire. You will manage assigned commodities, lead supplier negotiations, and develop sourcing strategies to meet cost, quality, delivery and service objectives.

You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams to support NPI and strategic sourcing on a global scale, with 1 day per week work-from-home. The package includes 25 days holiday, pension, and life assurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Buyer in manufacturing/engineering.
• Proven track record in procurement and strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve best value across cost, quality, delivery, and service.
• Develop sourcing strategies to support growth, cost competitiveness, and supply chain resilience.
• Identify cost reduction and value improvement opportunities with suppliers and internal teams.
• Source, evaluate and develop new suppliers to maintain a competitive base.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain on NPI and strategic sourcing projects.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions and improvements.
