Thames Water's System Insights team in Reading is hiring a GIS Specialist to apply spatial analytics and modelling to inform billions of pounds of investment. You’ll work with engineers, modellers and environmental specialists to shape decisions on resilient wastewater networks and community benefits.

Qualifications

Experience in GIS, spatial analytics or geospatial data work.
Proficiency with ArcGIS tools and related GIS software.
Ability to turn data into actionable insights for decision making.
Experience handling large datasets and data-driven analysis.

Responsibilities

Analyse spatial and operational datasets to identify patterns and opportunities.
Deliver GIS-based analysis and modelling to inform investment planning.
Develop visualisations and dashboards for accessible insights.
Support QA to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with analysts, modellers and stakeholders to solve challenges.
Explore automation and data science to improve data use.
Contribute to AMP8 programmes and major strategic initiatives.
