Job summary

Harmless CIC is looking for a Fundraising and Events Coordinator to lead fundraising efforts, raise brand awareness, and strengthen community relationships in support of suicide prevention.

You will develop strategies across donor channels, manage events, and collaborate with teams to align fundraising with advocacy and policy messaging. The role offers a 4-day week model, with 32 hours for full-time staff and progression on probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in nonprofit management, fundraising, event planning, or communications.
• Strong relationship-building with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
• Experience in fundraising and event coordination within the not-for-profit sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy across individual giving, sponsorships, grants, and online campaigns.
• Plan and execute events including galas, campaigns, community outreach, conferences, and workshops with budget control and logistics.
• Build relationships with community organisations and local/national businesses; recruit and manage volunteers.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate fundraising, events, and advocacy messaging and to present data-driven insights to leadership.
