Job summary

CPL Aromas, the world’s largest fragrance-focused house, seeks a Senior Fragrance Developer to craft winning scents for priority markets. You’ll collaborate with Account Managers and Marketing to shape olfactive strategies and drive sales across designated categories.

Applicants should bring at least 5 years in fragrance development, robust olfactive language, and strong communication, planning, and leadership skills. On-site role in the UK with exposure to key brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Fragrance Development role.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (Spoken & Written English).
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Olfactive knowledge & perfumery language.
• Market knowledge of the assigned category.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of key accounts.
• Ownership of key markets.
• Ownership of key categories.
• Promote library fragrances where applicable.
• Guide perfumers in developing winning fragrances.
• Understanding olfactive strategies of main brands in market/category.
• Analyse client portfolio and perform gap analysis.
• Grow untapped accounts through strategic fragrance portfolio reviews.
• Identify best performing fragrances for assigned category and promote to sales team.
• Work closely with other evaluators, perfumers and sales team.
• Support assigned markets by looking at trends, gaps and prospects.
• Training of junior evaluators.
• Building evaluation protocols.
