Job summary

Selfridges is seeking a Finance Manager for FP&A to provide regular insight and analysis to commercial finance teams, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and robust planning. You will lead one Finance Analyst, coach them and drive efficiency across budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with professional designation (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or international equivalent).
• Strong commercial awareness in a fast-paced retail/consumer environment.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling experience; ability to build robust models.

Responsibilities

• Identify timely analysis to support business partners in profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning under senior guidance.
• Deliver monthly management accounts with variance analysis and narratives.
• Coach and develop a Finance Analyst, including objective setting and reviews.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and map risks and opportunities.
• Understand cash flow drivers and coordinate with treasury on working capital.
• Act as primary contact for Group or shareholder queries.
• Drive process improvements across Finance for efficiency and controls.
