Job summary

BT Group is seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to lead complex planning and reporting across the Group. You will safeguard financial integrity, governance and insight to support strategic decisions and transformation.

You will drive monthly forecasts, the Medium-Term Plan, month-end processes and high-quality P&L projections, delivering clear insights to leadership teams and guiding cost and performance improvements.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
Strong modelling, spreadsheet and analytical capabilities with data-driven insights.
Excellent stakeholder management across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

Lead key financial planning processes: monthly forecasts, outlooks and the Medium-Term Plan.
Coordinate month-end and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
Own the annual MTP cycle with cross‑business stakeholder engagement.
Develop commercial and strategic P&L forecasts with insightful analysis.
Prepare and present financial analysis and reporting packs for leaders.
Maintain planning tools, including Value Driver Tree (VDT).
Provide decision support to Commercial and Operations teams to drive growth.
Lead finance improvement projects to simplify processes and governance.
Partner with Finance Leads, UK Business Centre and GFSS for alignment.
