Job summary

Dickson O'Brien is recruiting a Head of Financial Planning & Reporting in Liverpool. This permanent, senior role leads the FP&A function, budgets, forecasts and financial modelling, with a strong emphasis on strategic insight and stakeholder collaboration.

You will head budgeting, long-term planning, scenario analyses, business-case reviews and deputise for the senior finance lead when required. A clear path for a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with FP&A, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading finance teams and strategic finance projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, long-term financial plans and rolling forecasts.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for strategic decisions.
• Provide insightful analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Review business cases and provide financial recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and budget holders across the organisation.
• Lead finance projects and change/transformation initiatives.
• Support Finance Strategy and deputise for the senior finance lead.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
