Job summary

TransUnion is seeking an FP&A Analyst II in Leeds to support cost forecasting, provide timely financial reporting, and partner with senior stakeholders across UK and Europe. The role focuses on cost drivers, workforce forecasting, and robust financial governance to drive business performance.

You will work with Procurement, Financial Control, and Finance Partners to ensure accurate budgeting and insightful insights for decision-making. A competitive package and flexible arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information, investigate cost movements, and communicate insights.
• Strong organisational skills to manage recurring forecasting, reporting, and month-end activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, Finance Business Partners, Financial Control, Procurement, and operational teams.
• Inquisitive, improvement-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and identify better ways of working.
• Ability to provide accurate, timely financial analysis supporting commercial decisions, risk management, and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate cost forecasting by analysing key cost drivers and contributing to identifying financial risks and opportunities.
• Maintain rolling non-people cost forecast in partnership with business stakeholders, local/global Procurement, and Finance Partners, providing a current view of expected expenditure.
• Support workforce forecasting and staff-cost monitoring for UK and global roles, ensuring forecasts reflect the latest staffing position.
• Develop and deliver relevant, timely financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making and performance.
• Support month-end reporting and variance analysis of non-people costs with Financial Control and stakeholders.
• Identify emerging business challenges and mitigate risks through robust analysis, controls, and governance.
• Provide financial analysis to Finance Business Partnering colleagues, contributing to priorities and stakeholder engagement.
• Review and approve purchase orders to ensure expenditure is within budget and correctly coded.
• Review financial processes and interfaces, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing to wider Finance initiatives.
