Job summary

Finning (UK) Ltd, the world's largest Caterpillar dealer, is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our finance team in the UK. You will deliver critical analysis, reporting and forecasting to shape business performance across the organisation.

The role requires finalist or qualified accountant status (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong Excel and BI tooling experience, and the ability to partner with senior leaders and commercial stakeholders to drive insights and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Business Partnering.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to explain performance drivers.
• Advanced Excel and BI tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Producing month-end and board-ready reporting with insights.
• Analyzing performance, identifying trends and drivers.
• Supporting forecasting and budgeting, partnering with stakeholders.
• Providing SG&A, cost reporting and cost-optimisation opportunities.
• Coordinating headcount forecasting and capital investment planning.
• Developing KPI dashboards and performance reporting tools.
• Ensuring timely forecasts and reporting submissions.
• Supporting SAP BPC, Power BI, Tableau implementations.
