Job summary

Greene King is hiring an FP&A Finance Analyst on a fixed-term contract. You’ll be at the core of the Brewing & Brands Finance team, delivering high-quality insight and driving business impact across the organisation.

Responsibilities include extracting data from MIS, preparing performance metrics, supporting budgeting/forecasting, period end close, and presenting trends to senior leadership. Experience with P&L, Balance Sheet and governance is valuable.

Qualifications

• Understands the strategy of the business and the role of finance in delivering it.
• Support Business Partners with extraction and manipulation of data from Greene King’s MIS, validating data and preparing analysis and metrics.
• Investigate anomalies with data and propose solutions to correct.
• Provide support to FP&A Lead and Finance Director on project/ad hoc work.
• Ownership of the Risks & Opps process within B&B Finance for horizon scanning and planning.
• Understand budgeting/forecasting principles and variance analysis; participate in end-to-end budgetProcess.
• Validate data for FP&A reporting templates and suggest improvements.
• Support period end reporting and P&L variance analysis.
• Consolidation and analysis of data for Brewing & Brands Exec.

Responsibilities

• Drive budgeting and forecasting with variance analysis and checks.
• Prepare and validate FP&A reporting templates for management.
• Support period end close meetings and P&L queries with senior leadership.
• Consolidate and analyse data, reporting to Brewing & Brands Exec.
• Collaborate with Centre of Excellence Finance to ensure data quality.
