Job summary

Dorset-based, on-site Supply Chain Manager role at D R Newitt & Associates leading end-to-end supply chain for a large-scale food manufacturing site (circa 800 headcount). You’ll drive S&OP, production planning, inventory control and logistics, while building resilience and delivering cost improvements.

The role demands senior leadership, strong ERP/MRP skills, and the ability to align Operations, Procurement, Finance and Commercial teams to business goals.

Qualifications

• Senior supply chain leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience managing supply chain operations at large-scale sites (~800 headcount).
• Strong ERP/MRP proficiency and data-driven decision making.
• Proven delivery of cost-saving/lean initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead site supply chain strategy, championing continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
• Oversee S&OP, demand forecasting, production planning, inventory control and working capital management.
• Ensure flawless OTIF delivery and optimise transport networks and 3PL contracts.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Finance and Commercial to align capability with goals.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team on a large manufacturing footprint.
